How to Rent Out a Meerkat
The whole point of renting a Meerkat is to mint an NFT TimeBox.

Once the NFT TimeBox is minted, the Meerkat goes on vacation before returning to the rental queue.

You can rent out Meerkats of any available rarity, each with its own rental queue.

Minting an NFT TimeBox using a Meerkat is also possible if the following conditions are met: a Rare SoulBox in Switch On mode for at least 5 days, along with a Potion obtained prior to yesterday.



To Rent Out a Meerkat, Follow These Steps:
1) Navigate to the main page on the MysteryCave platform where your NFTs are listed;
2) Beneath the Meerkat, click on the Rent button;
3) A rented-out Meerkat is denoted by an asterisk.

* A shaded asterisk indicates the Meerkat is rented out and awaiting its turn.
* A transparent asterisk signifies the Meerkat has been successfully rented out previously and is on vacation now, thus unavailable for rent.


Important Points to Note:

  • Every third Meerkat staked for 5 days or more can be rented out, meaning you can rent out any Meerkat if their number is a multiple of three.

  • To rent out 2 Meerkats, you need 6 staked Meerkats, and so forth.

  • You can rent out Meerkats of regular or higher rarity.

  • If you sell or cease staking a Meerkat from your collection, all rented out Meerkats are automatically taken out of rental.

  • When a Meerkat is taken out of rental, it re-enters the rental queue at the end of its rarity queue, ensuring fair rental distribution.

  • Meerkats require rest according to their rarity: Common - 2 days, Uncommon - 3, Rare - 6, Epic - 9, Legendary - 14. The rented Meerkat's resting period is independent of that of a personal Meerkat which may also go to rest after creating an NFT TimeBox in the lab. These processes run concurrently;

    • Rental payouts for a Meerkat vary based on rarity:
    Common 0,015 ETH
    Uncommon 0,02 ETH
    Rare 0,03 ETH
    Epic0,04 ETH
    Legendary 0,05 ETH
