Most people use MetaMask as a browser extension. We have prepared detailed instructions on how to use this method.
How to install a wallet in the Google Chrome browser:
1. Download Metamask from the official website: https://metamask.io/
2. Click the "Install MetaMask" button. You will be redirected to the official Google Chrome extension repository. Proceed with the installation.
3. If you already have a wallet, you can import it using the secret phrase you were given during registration. If not - create a new one by clicking on the "Create New Wallet" button.
4. Agree to the terms and conditions, create a password. You will need it for future authorization on websites.
5. Be sure to protect your wallet so that you can restore access to it. You will be given a secret phrase of 12 words. This is the key to your vault. Anyone who gets hold of the phrase will become the new owner of the wallet. Try to keep this phrase in a safe place.
6. Metamask will ask you to confirm the security of your secret phrase. You need to select the words you have seen before.
7. Metamask team will thank you for prioritizing security.
8. You have received a wallet address on the Ethereum network. You can now buy ETH, transfer them to this wallet, and much more.
